Recently, Engineered Lifting Systems became an ACCO hoist distributor, and is now able to provide design and sales of ACCO hoists and equipment to our customers.



In pursuit of our knowledge in the products and component capabilities that ACCO can provide, the ELS engineering team flew to York, Pennsylvania to meet our counterparts at the factory both in engineering and sales. We were blown away with the equipment that we saw being assembled, and the designs of equipment that this plant builds on a regular basis.



ACCO rolled out the red carpet for Engineered Lifting Systems!



Jeff Dawson stopped during our plant tour to give some scale to this long hoist drum.

We had the opportunity to meet with the inside sales people at the plant, and gained knowledge on products that they have previously manufactured, many for specific hoist applications like shaker hoists, and hoists for unique environments. Even large size tractor drives are available. Engineered Lifting Systems will be developing a webpage devoted to ACCO hoists and ACCO hoist applications.

The amazing people at ACCO gave us an additional treat; getting to watch a hoist gearbox being assembled!





Watching the production of this hoist gearbox, we could see the workmanship that goes into every ACCO hoist!
