Magnetek Black Max® Motors
The Electromotive Systems’ Black Max® motor meets the needs of more common crane applications. The Black Max line of motors is the base model line of motors from Magnetek, and will meet many demanding applications.
These motors come in NEMA frame sizes for either foot mounted, or C-face applications with the following features and benefits:
- 1/2 to 50 hp
- 1.0 service factor on a PWM drive *
- Crane applications typical CMAA Class A through E
- TENV design (Totally Enclosed Non-Ventilated)
- For operation with IGBT invertors, these are NEMA Design A motors
- 230/460-3-60 VAC
- Standard line of disc and shoe brakes available
- Standard and non-standard encoders and resolvers available
- Class F insulation
- Standard 2-year warranty with an extended warranty available
Magnetek Blue Max® Motors
The Electromotive Systems’ Blue Max® motor offers the most complete line of inverter duty motors in the industry. At Engineered Lifting Systems, the Magnetek Blue Max motor is a basis for every modernization we provide. That’s because you cannot find a better motor to be used with Magnetek drives and controls. Features as follows:
- Capable of 1500:1 speed range with Magnetek Series 4 drives
- 1/2 to 400 hp
- 1.0 service factor on a PWM drive *
- These motors can be supplied as
- TENV – 60 minute rated
- TEBC – continuous duty
- TENV – continuous duty
- For operation with IGBT inverters, these are NEMA Design A motors
- Class F and Class H insulation
- Class F thermostats (Klixons) in all three phases
- Cast iron frame
- 230/460-3-60 VAC
- Standard line of disc and shoe brakes available
- Standard and non-standard encoders and resolvers available
- Class F insulation
