Engineered Gorbel crane
systems are flexible by design. Gorbel has developed an
excellent pre-engineered family of crane kits that combine
bridges, runways, trolleys and suspension systems for both
ceiling hung and freestanding supports.
Engineered Lifting Systems has designed and applied hundreds
of Gorbel enclosed track crane systems literally all over
the world. So customer requirements that need critical
arrangements and innovative support are what we do best.
In a recent application that required three 2,000 pound
capacity cranes (bridges), a minimum of free standing
support columns, and a quick delivery for one customer,
Engineered Lifting Systems working together with Gorbel and
specific suggestions from the customer developed the
Gorbel hybrid crane systems seen here.

This special design Gorbel
crane combines a freestanding supported system with 30 foot
support centers with 9 ceiling supports, and three floor
columns. The columns are within inches of a concrete block
wall, where there is no overhead support, yet the columns
are out of the way of pedestrian and fork truck traffic.

The
system as shown was shipped in 3-1/2 weeks, right on
schedule! The customer was up and running on time, within
budget while meeting all the physical requirements for hook
travel and capacity.
These systems have application form 125# all the way up to
4,000# capacity. Many deliveries are in 7-10 days!
