Installations are provided tailored to the job specific requirements
including the engineering to provide a standard or custom system.

This project required one (1) 75-ton and one (1) 20-ton double
girder top running crane. Here they are staged ready to be lifted
onto the runways.

The Engineered Lifting System’s 75-ton crane girder is hoisted into
place using a mobile hydraulic crane.

The 20-ton crane is staged in the picture, an important part of an
installation like this is planning right down to which end of which
girder is facing forward on the truck to prevent double handling.

This is a 3-ton capacity Gorbel Full Cantilever motorized jib crane
installation with a Budget Electric Chain Hoist and motorized
trolley. Although the building column was designed to limit
deflection based on maximum thrust and pull, it required engineered
improvements to prevent wall crushing, and a mounting design.

85/10-ton Mill Duty Crane Modernization.
New Magnetek motors, Mondel brakes and G+/VG+ Series 3
drives.
Engineered Lifting Systems truck on site and outfitted to
handle big projects.
Original enclosures were in great shape, pre-engineered and
wired back-plates were installed for minimal plant downtime.
85/10-ton Class E Mill crane modernization complete with
new Magnetek motors, Mondel Thruster brakes, and Magnetek
Variable frequency controls. All engineering and
installation performed by Engineered Lifting Systems.

1000 amp Electrification
Installation

When the electrification comes in 30' sections, you have to
work as a team to install it!
High heat cover and ceramic insulators.
Careful planning and safety reviews always pays off for
great project results.
Installation of 1000 amp high heat cover electrification
system with hospital isolation sections, custom structural
supports and ceramic insulators for an 850’ long runway.

Gorbel Crane and Jib

25-ton Modernization
|
Old P&H low headroom trolley/hoist was worn out.
New Ace World Companies 25-ton low headroom trolley/hoist
designed with Engineered Lifting Systems brought in to
replace the P&H unit. This unit had to be dropped in through
the roof!
A new Magnetek festoon system was installed, note the
encoder cable "stand-offs" installed to keep the encoder
cable away from the power leads in the festoon.
Installed over a weekend to keep plant production losses to
a minimum, new Ace World hoist is ready for a lifetime of
lifting. Complete Magnetek crane controls were provided to
replace old Bulletin 580 controls and Bulletin ED-25-6 Eddy
Current. |
10-ton Crane Control
Installation
